We value the lived experiences and positive attitudes of our mature volunteers and welcome the curiosity of our younger ones, there is a place for everyone! From early morning game drives, preparing food for predators, collecting observational data, and visiting the local community school to admiring the free-roaming cheetahs and cheeky meerkats! Jay and his wife got stuck into the everyday duties of a wildlife volunteer and turned out to be star volunteers, giving and full of life. And for us, it has been a pleasure arranging this week of volunteering at one of our wildlife projects in the Cape Karoo.
What was even more humbling was for them to spend their 42nd wedding anniversary volunteering! What a fantastic memory made! The team on the ground has been amazing sharing their knowledge and their passion for conservation. Thank you for becoming part of the Themba (meaning 'hope' in IsiXhosa)Travel Tribe!
